By accessing or attempting to access the Death Gym facility, you agree to these terms and conditions.
Failure to agree to and comply with these terms will result in the revocation or denial of your use of the Death Gym facility and/or services.
Starting Monday, June 23, 2025, Death Gym will begin a phased process of accepting membership applications from the general public.
Of course, as this is and will always be a private gym, we reserve the right to refuse membership for any reason.
At this time, we plan to register only 10 to 20 individuals on a first-come, first-served basis.
We will do our best to implement measures that are beneficial to all of us and do not sacrifice mutual respect.
We will only respond to inquiries from individuals who identify themselves and use polite, respectful, and kind language.
We will sincerely strive to respond in kind.
Now, let's begin.
General members of Death Gym (hereafter, "Members") will be issued a membership card for a fee, which is required for entry and exit of the Death Gym training facility. Members shall comply with the following:
To Our Members
Death Gym Terms of Use:
(a) Members shall act respectfully towards each other, the training facility, and local residents.
(b) Members are responsible for cleaning up after themselves and returning any equipment used to its original place or position.
(c) Members must comply with the gym rules as specified herein and as posted within the gym.
(d) Members shall not falsify any information related to the Terms of Use.
(e) Members may not guide or accompany any other person, including other members, into the gym facility, with the exception of children under the age of 14.
Guarantee from Death Gym:
(f) Access to the Death Gym facility is guaranteed 24/7, provided that these terms are adhered to and the membership card is valid and not expired.
Membership Disqualification:
Membership will be refused to any individual who falls under any of the following categories:
・Is currently or was formerly a member of a criminal organization or gang.
・Has been convicted as a sex offender.
・Has previously been permanently stripped of their trainer, member, or trainee status at this gym.
・Has not provided a formal written apology for a violation of the terms or has not repaid outstanding debts.
・Is found to have provided false or misleading answers when agreeing to the terms.
・Is legally unable to agree to the Terms of Use.
※ For minors aged 14 and over, a legal guardian may consent on their behalf, assuming all responsibility and obligations. Minors under the age of 14 are not permitted to register as members, even with parental consent.
・In addition to the reasons above, because this is a private gym, membership is not a guaranteed right. We may refuse membership for any reason, including rude, disrespectful, or violent behavior that could create an unpleasant or dangerous environment for all parties involved.
How can I register? (How to Register)
Answer: Those wishing to register should book an appointment through the provided email address, Instagram, or LINE.
The individual wishing to register must clearly identify themselves in the email, Instagram message, or LINE message. Communications from individuals who do not identify themselves will be ignored.
Please understand that, as a general rule, appointments may not be guaranteed if availability is limited. The individual wishing to register must contact us directly and must attend the appointment in person.
The registration process itself takes about 10~20 minutes. You will need 6,000 JPY for women or 8,000 JPY for men (cash only) to cover the registration fee and the first 30 days of membership. A valid form of identification is also required.
If you have a registered phone number and already possess a membership card, the registration fee is not required.

Where can members park? (Parking)
Answer: Please park on the side of a public road or in a public parking lot. Do not park on private property without the landowner's permission. For more details, please see the "Access" page (English).
I'm a beginner. What is considered "common sense" when training at Death Gym or other facilities? (For Beginners)
Answer: First, there is a shared understanding, much like in a library or a gymnasium, to treat the provided tools with care. When using gym equipment, do not use it in a way that could damage the equipment, the floor, or other parts of the facility.
For cable machines, please prevent the weight stack from slamming together loudly. For free weights, control the dumbbells or barbells back to their original position. Please also return weight plates to where they belong. For cable attachments, return them to the cable attachment rack after use.
Take any tissues you've used to blow your nose home with you. If you bring a water bottle, take it home with you. If you move a bench from one part of the gym to another, please return it to its original location after use.
If you sweat and sit on a bench or other machine, please use a towel and spray bottle to wipe the sweat off the surface after you are fi
None of these things are difficult if you have a basic understanding of returning things to the state they were in before you used them. If this is genuinely difficult for you to understand, we recommend another training facility.
Do I need to bring a towel? Is there anything else I should bring? (Towel & Items)
Answer: Yes, we ask all members to bring their own towels. Cleaning spray is provided at the gym.
The towels provided at the gym are used for cleaning mirrors, wiping dust off equipment, etc., so please use your own towel to wipe away sweat after using the equipment.
Outdoor shoes are strictly prohibited. We recommend bringing indoor shoes, but it is not mandatory. However, please refrain from training in clothing that could damage the equipment, such as jeans or pants with metal buttons or sharp surfaces.
Also, the gym does not have a water fountain or vending machine (for now). Therefore, please bring your own beverages.
What kind of food and drinks can I bring in? (Food & Drink)
Answer: Needless to say, this is not a restaurant or a supermarket. There is no logical reason to bring food into the gym, but if you do, be thorough in cleaning up after yourself and leave no food scraps behind. The same applies to drinks.
Protein powder, creatine, and other powdered substances are prohibited from being brought into the gym in their powder form, as members could accidentally spill them on the floor. Please prepare such drinks outside the gym beforehand.
Can I bring my own equipment and store it at the gym? (Personal Items)
Answer: Members cannot leave personal belongings in the training facility. If a member leaves personal items in the facility, it will be interpreted as an act of littering.
Is smoking permitted? (Smoking)
Answer: No, smoking is prohibited inside the gym and around the gym premises (including outdoors).
When can I start using my membership card? (Update Period)
Answer: Whether you are registering or renewing, please wait 0-72 hours for the system to be updated after your payment is confirmed.
What should I do if my membership card stops working or I lose it? (Replacement Card)
Answer: Please contact us immediately so we can issue a replacement membership card or restore the activation of the access card you currently hold. The replacement fee for a membership card is 2,000 JPY. If your "Member" status is revoked, the access card you currently hold will be invalidated.
Can you give me more details about the heating? (Heating)
Answer: Death Gym is heated from November 1st to April 30th. Due to the large space of the training facility, the kerosene stove is set to 13°C and cannot be adjusted. Portable kerosene stoves are not permitted due to the accumulation of carbon monoxide. The wood-burning stove may be used if you manage the fire and wood yourself. Firewood, when available, is cut and stored behind Death Gym. You are also free to bring your own firewood.
What about during the summer? (Cooling)
Answer: Please feel free to use the fans installed in Death Gym. However, if no one else is using the facility, please be sure to turn them off when you leave. You may open the windows for ventilation, but please keep them closed, especially when there is a lot of dust, sand, or pollen in the air. Also, to prevent rain and insects from entering, please be sure to close the windows when you leave. For security reasons, please keep the doors closed at all times.
Can I take photos or videos inside Death Gym? (Photos & Videos)
Answer: Yes, as long as everyone involved has given their permission.
Can I bring pets or other animals inside Death Gym? (Pets)
Answer: No.
Can children under 14 accompanied by a member enter Death Gym? (Children)
Answer: Yes, as long as the child does not use any of the training equipment and is supervised by the member. For example, if a member has a small child who cannot be left alone, that child is free to watch Netflix or YouTube on the TV. Again, the member is solely responsible for any incidents that may occur.
What should I do if a specific gym machine or bench is damaged or needs maintenance? (Damaged Equipment)
Answer: Contact me immediately with a detailed report on the affected gym machine or bench, accompanied by at least five photos and one video. Also, please describe the gym machine or bench by the product number listed on the Death Gym website.
Another member is using the machine I want to use. What should I do? (Equipment Usage)
Answer: At Death Gym, there are no time limits on the use of equipment, including benches, barbells, and machines. The same applies to the use of the gym's music or TV.
However, children have priority when it comes to music selection and TV use.
Even though there are no time limits, please be considerate of other members when using the equipment.
Can I train a friend at the gym? (Training Services)
Answer: Yes, as long as both you and your friend are members of the gym who are respectful to others and the facility.
However, you may not receive compensation from or solicit that friend or any other member for training services or other services within the Death Gym facility. Only selected Death Gym trainers may provide training or non-training services for a fee.
Want to become a trainer? (Japanese)
Is there a free or discounted membership? (Free or Discounted Membership)
Answer: Yes, the "U22 Discount" is available. For individuals 22 years of age and under, the membership fee is 50% OFF.
Also, for former members of Death Gym who still have their membership card, the registration fee is waived. No other membership discounts are available at this time.
Please note that access cards (also known as membership cards) are used free of charge by myself, the owner, my daughter, selected trainers, staff, assistants, and any other persons I deem necessary to have access to the Death Gym facility to perform their duties or functions. This may also be subject to change in the future as needed.
How do I renew my membership card? (Renewal A)
Answer: Empty envelopes and a pen are available in the Death Gym break area.
On the front of the envelope, please write the date, your phone number, your membership card number, and the amount.
Please place that envelope in my home mailbox. My home door is immediately to the left of the gym's entrance door as you look at it from the outside.
Renewal fees can be paid in cash or by bank transfer. If you use bank transfer, please use the following account information:

The remitter is responsible for any transfer fees when paying by bank transfer.
When paying by bank transfer, please be sure to include your registered phone number in the remitter's name. Otherwise, it may be difficult to link the payment to your membership card.
Again, once payment is confirmed, your membership card will be renewed within 0-72 hours.
My membership card expires in one week. If I renew today, will the new 30 days apply from today? (Renewal B)
Answer: No, the new 30 days will be added after your current membership card's expiration date, so you will not lose any days.
My membership card has already expired. How do I renew it? (Renewal C)
Answer: First, there is no obligation to renew. You can renew one week, one month, or even several months after your membership card has expired. In this case, you will need to provide your own envelope, but the rest of the procedure is the same as above.
